Q) Do I need a label maker?

A) Label makers are good for wide array of uses: labeling your CDs and DVDs, storage boxes, files, drawers, and even cups are just a few of their possible uses.

Q) What kind of label maker should I buy?

A) If you need a label maker only occasionally, then you should purchase a hand-held or desktop label maker; the commercial and industrial label makers are generally ideal for heavy-duty usage, but are also typically pricier.

Q) What is the cheapest label maker that I can buy?
A) Even though most personal label makers are very affordable, the mechanical models are the least expensive, although they usually have limited features as well.

Q) Can I print two line labels with all label makers?
A) Only some models offer options like two-line labels, vertical labels, bordering, etc. Read the product descriptions carefully before making a purchase.

Q) Do I have to buy batteries separately for my label maker?
A) Most handheld models are shipped without batteries or AC adaptor and you will have to buy them separately; however, some of the higher-end label makers come with batteries and/or AC adaptor in the box.

Q) Can I save some of the label templates that I made for later use?
A) If you want to be able to save labels, search for label maker with memory: the personal label makers have memory that usually allows you to store from seven to ten different labels and can also remember the last printed label and label templates as well.

Q) I need cheap label maker that prints durable labels. What should I buy?
A) You should consider embossing label makers since they are affordable, easy to use, and the embossing tape is durable.
